More than 300 adoptable pets photographed this year and more than 225 already in forever homes. It has taken long days, endless treats, and plenty of sore muscles, but it has also brought so much joy. November is off to a busy start with 45 adoptable pets photographed through our Seen & Saved initiative. From studio sessions with six local rescues to a special day at Pender County Humane Society, each portrait captures their personality and helps them find a forever home.

Wilmington pet photographer Bre Burge launched the Seen & Saved initiative to help local rescue pets get noticed and adopted through photography. With 252 pets already photographed and 191 adoptions so far, Bre’s goal is to reach 300 pets and 225 adoptions by the end of the year.
