Introducing Pit Stop Sessions

I've been hinting at this for a while, and I'm excited to finally share it properly!

Pit Stop Sessions are a new session type I'm testing through the end of the year. The idea is simple: short, fun, rotating sessions at local spots that change with the season. Flower fields, pumpkin patches, cozy studio setups for the holidays. Each one is quick and playful, built for pets and their people who want a handful of genuinely great photos without the longer timeline of a full private session.

I wanted to create something that felt like a natural stopping point in your day. You pull up, we shoot something beautiful, and you leave with photos worth keeping. That's the whole idea behind the name.

How They Work

Each Pit Stop Session is a short, guided session at a new location or theme, so no two sessions will ever look exactly the same.

Outdoor and location sessions are small group sessions, with up to 4 sign-ups per session rotating through the setup together. Studio sessions are private. Either way, spots are limited and open on a first-come, first-served basis.

You can bring up to two pets per sign-up. Additional pets will need their own separate booking.

These sessions are open to pets of all breeds and species, so don't count yourself out if you have a cat, a rabbit, or anything in between!

What's Included

Your $175 session fee covers your time at the session, your preview gallery, and a Zoom Ordering Appointment where we'll look through your images and choose your artwork together. You'll also receive a $200 product credit toward whatever you fall in love with, applied at your Ordering Appointment and valid for purchases made that day.

Artwork options include Acrylic Blocks, Wooden Stand Prints, Mini Books, and individual prints. Matching digital files come complimentary with any printed purchase. You can see everything on the Pit Stop Sessions page linked below.

The First One: Zinnias at Old River Farms

If you've been following along, you may remember the flower sessions I did at Old River Farms earlier this year. The zinnias are back in bloom right now, and this felt like the perfect way to kick off Pit Stop Sessions!

Old River Farms is one of my favorite places to shoot. The colors are incredible and the setting does a lot of the heavy lifting. Whether it's just your pet in the flowers or you want to get in the frame too, these images are always worth it.

A few things to know before you book:

• Dogs must remain on leash at all times. Old River Farms is a shared space and leashes are required throughout your visit.

• If your dog is very reactive around other dogs, this may not be the best fit since the farm is open to the public and other dogs may be nearby.

• Wear neutrals and subtle patterns if you're planning to be in the photos. And if you're wearing a dress, go midi or maxi since you'll be crouching down with your pet!

• Arrive ready to go. These sessions move quickly and we want to make the most of our time together.

I'll be testing new Pit Stop Session themes through the end of the year before they become a regular ongoing offering in 2027. Think fall foliage, holiday studio setups, and more.
