This program supports local rescues by photographing adoptable pets, both on-site and in the studio, to help them get noticed and find loving homes faster.
From A Photo to a Purpose
Every adoptable pet has a personality worth falling in love with. The problem is most people never get to see it. A blurry shelter photo taken on a phone doesn't stop anyone mid-scroll. A professional portrait does. Seen + Saved exists to close that gap, giving adoptable pets the kind of images that make the right person stop, look twice, and reach out. It started with one camera, one rescue, and one dog at a time. Now it's a monthly initiative partnering with local shelters and rescues across Wilmington to make sure more pets get seen, and saved.

Monthly Photo Days
Each month, Seen + Saved Days are hosted at local shelters, in the studio, and with community partners. Every session is built around giving adoptable pets their best shot at being noticed.

Professional Portrait Sessions
With patience and plenty of treats, each pet's unique personality gets its moment. The goal is never just a nice photo. It's a portrait that shows the soul behind the face.

Edited & Delivered
Every image is carefully edited and delivered directly to the shelter or rescue to use in adoption listings, social posts, and outreach efforts.

Shared Far & Wide
Photos are also shared across The Photo District's social channels, giving each pet an extra layer of visibility and a better chance of landing in front of the right person.

Finding Forever Homes
The end goal is always the same: the right person sees the right pet, and a new chapter begins.

Businesses – A $750 sponsorship funds a full day of adoption sessions for rescue pets and includes a complimentary pop-up pet headshot event for your employees, clients, or residents. Your support helps provide professional photography that increases visibility and adoption opportunities.
Individuals – Contribute any amount, one-time or recurring monthly or yearly, to support rescue pets. Your support funds adoption photo sessions and helps pets be seen and adopted. Your name will be featured in our post as a thank you.
