Seen + Saved
INITIATIVE
This program supports local rescues by photographing adoptable pets, both on-site and in the studio, to help them get noticed and find loving homes faster.
From A Photo to a Purpose
Back when I was still working my corporate job, I knew I wanted to give back in a meaningful way. I came across a video of a pet photographer helping shelter dogs get adopted, and thought, "I could do that." I bought my first camera off Facebook Marketplace, soaked up everything I could online, and practiced by photographing my own dog and a few pups around the neighborhood.
Soon after, I reached out to local rescues, and Paws Place was the first to say yes. We've been doing monthly photoshoots together ever since. Once I opened my studio, I added a monthly Foster Photo Day to the mix.
Seen & Saved is the name behind this mission. It is a volunteer-driven initiative shining a light on adoptable pets and helping them find the homes they deserve, one professional photo at a time.
Helping Pets Get Seen (and Saved)
A simple process with a powerful impact.
01
Monthly Photo Days
Each month, I host Seen + Saved Days at local shelters, in the studio, or with community partners, capturing adoptable pets in their best light.
02
Professional Portrait Sessions
With patience and plenty of treats, I capture each pet’s unique personality, showcasing the soul behind every face.
03
Edited & Delivered
After the session, every image is carefully edited and delivered to the shelter or rescue to use in their adoption listings, social posts, and outreach efforts.
04
Shared Far & Wide
I also help amplify the reach by sharing the photos on my social media channels, often giving pets extra visibility and helping the right person fall in love.
05
Finding Forever Homes
The end goal is always the same: help these pets get seen by the right people, so they can be saved through adoption. Every photo session is one step closer to a happily-ever-after.
THE IMPACT OF BEING SEEN
Every great photo has the power to change a life. When adoptable pets are shown in their best light, with their personalities on full display, they’re more likely to catch the eye (and heart) of a future family. A professional image can stop someone mid-scroll and spark a forever connection.
Your sponsorship makes this possible. It helps cover the time, tools, and resources needed to create adoption-focused portraits, allowing us to reach more shelters, photograph more pets, and help more animals find loving homes. You're not just funding a photo, you’re giving a second chance.
THANK YOU, SPONSORS!
