Help Us Shine a Light on These Pups

Updated: Sep 12

These four dogs are looking for homes, and each one has a unique personality that deserves to be seen. Here’s a little about them and how you can help.

Bruno

Meet Bruno, a 2-year-old ball of energy who weighs 58 lbs. He loves chasing balls, going for walks, and showing off his favorite toys. Bruno would do well in an active home with a yard or with a friendly dog sibling. After all that fun, he’s happiest curled up next to you for a cozy nap.

Bruno’s owner is joining the military and doesn’t have anyone to take him in. He needs a home by 10/6.

Dora

Dora is a sweet, shy girl around 18 lbs and 5–6 years old. She’s learning how to be a dog after a rough start in life. Her foster family has been helping her gain confidence, and she’s starting to play with her foster sister.

Dora would do best in a calm home without small children and with a gentle dog companion. Once she learns to trust you, she’s all tail wags and snuggles.

Sasha & Piper

Sasha has recently been diagnosed with cancer, and because of her condition, she and her companion Piper need a medical foster home. They are very attached and should stay together.

If you can provide a medical foster home, fill out the Foster Application at pawsplace.org. The foster team will follow up with next steps.

Each of these dogs deserves a home where they can thrive. Sharing this post or applying to foster or adopt can make a real difference.
